On this fourth Sunday of Easter, we encounter Jesus, the Good Shepherd. To follow Jesus is to pass through the valley of death, as we hear in today's liturgy (Ps 23), and into the risen glory - life more abundantly (Jn 10:10).

On this third Sunday of Easter the disciples on the road to Emmaus hear the Scriptures interpreted to them that causes their hearts to burn within them.
