The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that “by sending his only Son and the Spirit of Love in the fullness of time, God has revealed his innermost secret: God himself is an eternal exchange of love, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and he has destined us to share in that exchange” (CCC 221). This God, who comes to each one of us in a unique and personal way, by the very nature and mystery of our sacramental baptism, dwells within us. St. Paul the Apostle reminds us that we are, in faith and in fact, temples of the Holy Spirit. By worshiping the Trinity we realize the full truth of ourselves. “In the communion of grace with the Trinity, man’s ‘living area’ is broadened and raised up to the supernatural level of divine life. Man lives in God and by God” (Saint John Paul II) - (adapted from Magnificat, June 2020). For a brief video and more on the mystery of The Trinity - a God who is Love - please click the image.
