QUESTION OR COMMON OBJECTION:
Can I believe in reincarnation? What’s wrong with the idea that we keep coming back until we “get it right”?
CATHOLIC ANSWER:
The idea of reincarnation is false because each human person is a unique, unrepeatable unity of body and spirit. We do not keep coming back again and again.

The Bible and the Church clearly teach that our mortal bodies will be rejoined with our souls at the end of time to live eternally with the risen Christ. Belief in the resurrection of the body is an essential doctrine of the Christian faith.
