Portuguese shepherd children, sister and brother, Jacinta and Francisco Marto, along with their cousin Lucia dos Santos, witnessed apparitions of the Virgin Mary in 1917 in the countryside of Fatima, Portugal. These brave children suffered much for their refusal to deny the truth of the events of what they witnessed. Their lives are witness to God's power in reaching the humble of heart.
