Saints Alive! | St. Dismas (the Good Thief)

Considering the life and death of Saint Dismas, St. John Chrysostom writes that, "no one after his sins might despair of entrance" into Paradise. St. Dismas is the "Good Thief" at the right of Jesus crucified. He recognizes Jesus Christ as the Messiah. With the expression of faith, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom" (Lk 23:42), Jesus responds with Divine Mercy for this penitent thief.
