Saints Alive! | St. Boniface

Born of English nobility, St. Boniface became a monk and devoted his life to evangelizing the pagan Germanic tribes. Christians owe the tradition of the Christmas tree to this great Benedictine monk who used an evergreen tree as a symbol the pagans of his day could understand of eternal life in Jesus Christ. He is the patron of tailors, brewers, and Germany. For more about the life of this saint please click on the image. Peace be with you!
